Position: Assembler-A

Qualification Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years relevant manufacturing experience, preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, layouts, piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Ability to read tape measure
  • Experience bending tubing is a plus
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Knowledge of hand tools for assembly
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attendance is required
  • Must be team orientated
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, Align, plumb, and test process equipment
  • Assembly of piping spools and instruments onto skids
  • Testing various piping spools
  • Running band saws
  • Painting touch up’s and working around insulation occasionally
  • Blueprint reading and layout
  • Perform basic mechanical functions
  • Reading Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
  • Equipment checkout & Hydro Testing
  • Work within Design Specifications & Classifications
  • Provide Support for welding, material control, and machining
  • Run Tubing & Instrumentation Lines

Position: Welder/Fitter

Qualification Requirements:
  • Experience with metal fabrication
  • Must be able to read/interpret P&ID’s, schematics, engineered drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required
  • Relevant experience includes assembly of components
  • Must be proficient with regards to ASME B31.3 Code requirements
  • Will be required to demonstrate welding proficiency: pulse MIG, STT, TIG, X-Ray, etc.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Fabrication of pressure vessels, structural skids, piping, etc.
  • Joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
  • Laying out and fabricating precision welds and elements from blueprints and engineering concepts
  • Welding to ASME code and 100% x-ray
  • Inspecting completed welds to determine structural soundness
  • Working independently or as part of a team while making sound decisions and solving technical problems
  • Performing all job duties in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performing other functions/duties as required

Position: CNC Machinist

Primary Function:

Machinist is considered to be a craftsman within the Machine Shop. Individual must be able to perform a wide variety of operations on various parts, weldments & metals. Individual must be able to program, setup & operate Large Horizontal Boring Mill.

Qualification Requirements:
  • 5 + years programming experience on large horizontal boring mills
  • 5 + years relevant experience (experience in “job shop” environment preferred)
  • Ability to read/interpret engineered drawings and willingness to interface with engineering department
  • Must be proficient with measuring equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude & math skills required
  • Rigging experience a plus
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Program mills by building & entering instructions (code), including all aspects of job set-up, calculations, tools, operating parameters and dimensional validation.
  • Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to appropriate standards
  • Maintain specifications by observing process & part quality; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Perform set-up and tear down/clean-up of machining centers.
  • Utilize measuring devices – including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, tape measure, scales, etc.
  • Perform pre and post-machining inspections to verify critical fabrication or material tolerance requirements.
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Position: Industrial Custodian

Primary Function:

Keep manufacturing plants and office areas clean and in an orderly condition.

Qualification Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience as custodian or janitor for a manufacturing plant.
  • Knowledge of use, and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
  • Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components.
  • Familiarity with basic handyman practices.
  • Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
  • Very good physical condition and strength.
  • Experience using a Forklift required.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets.
  • Ensure manufacturing plant is swept, floors washed and areas cleaned for next day including taking out trash.
  • Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap, paper towels).
  • Wipe mirrors and windows. • Perform maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Report major damages to Maintenance Manager and oversee light repairs.
  • Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors, closing windows and setting up the alarm.
  • Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks (shoveling snow from the sidewalk, lifting heavy items, moving chairs etc.).

Position: Mechanical Assembler

Primary Function:

Performs various precision assembly and bench testing operations; on high end skid and packaging systems.

Qualification Requirements:
  • 3-5 plus years of related hands on production experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of P&ID’s
  • Must be able to read and understand basic shop drawings
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Ability to accurately sort, count, tag and verify equipment
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and installation of tubing & compression fittings
  • Understanding of heat number tracing
  • Knowledge of valves, flow-meters and transmitters
  • Must be detail oriented and be able to multitask
  • Must be team orientated
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Performs various precision assembly and test operations of valves, flow-meters and transmitters.
  • Routing and bending of tubing to required instrumentation
  • Knowledge of good practice during assembly (tube slope, etc.)
  • Assembly activity utilizes a variety of mechanical equipment to obtain proper build requirements.
  • Test activity requires the use of pneumatic and electronic test equipment, fixtures and tools.
  • Maintains dimensional accuracy on assemblies through the use of hand tools, torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling and gauging.
  • Works from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and oral.
  • Equipment checkout & hydrostatic testing
  • Diagnoses test failures and perform necessary rework in order that the unit will pass test requirements.
  • Paint touch up and working around insulation occasionally
  • Cleans components to required cleanliness levels.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Position: Project Engineer

Primary Function:

The Project Engineer provides design efforts from inception through production both in new product design and in existing product redesign. The Project Engineer is responsible for meeting or exceeding all project deliverables.

Qualification Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (may consider other engineering disciplines with relevant process industry experience)
  • 5-10 years’ experience project engineering/technical project management
  • Experience with skid mounted process equipment (design/build)
  • Able to interpret P&ID’s, drawings, and specifications
  • Must have experience with sizing/selecting pumps, heat exchangers, valves, blowers, etc…
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD/Inventor
  • Experience with MS Project required
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and experience managing project teams
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the technical lead on design and build projects as well as build to print projects
  • Review customer specifications, drawings, P&ID’s
  • Support sales in preparing estimates and negotiating with customers
  • Size and select components
  • Generate BOM’s for assemblies and enter into MRP system
  • Check internal drawings for completeness and accuracy
  • Update project schedule in MS Project weekly
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project life cycle
  • Partner with manufacturing personnel to resolve problems during fabrication phase

Position: Maintenance Technician

Primary Function:

The Maintenance Technician is an important part of ensuring that production and the facility run smoothly. The Maintenance Technician is in charge of the upkeep and maintenance of the company’s equipment and facilities i.e. troubleshooting repairs and upgrades. This position is responsible for managing the preventative maintenance system and meeting plant safety requirements.

Qualification Requirements:
  • Must have a Technical degree or equivalent
  • 7-10 years in a Maintenance role is required
  • 7-10 years Manufacturing experience is required
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Must have good communication skills and ability to complete preventative maintenance reports
  • Mechanical/Electrical experience is preferred
  • Must have knowledge of basic hand tools
  • Experience with writing/managing maintenance budgets
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word Excel is required
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment in shop
  • Perform daily and weekly inspection of facility to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Prepares mechanical maintenance reports and records preventative maintenance performed on equipment.
  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
  • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machine shop and weld machines.
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
  • Perform needed functions pertaining to facility and grounds maintenance such as, weed & pest control, snow/ice, clearing of sidewalks, outdoor lighting, plumbing, and office furniture moving.
  • Delegate maintenance issues to appropriate personnel for effective resolution
  • Manage the process of disposal of worn-out/damaged machinery as well as the installation of new equipment
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify possible hazard around building facilities or premises
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budgets in order to meet set objectives
  • Conduct negotiations with third party contractors to determine the rate and terms of service for installations, inspections and building maintenance

Position: Quality Control Inspector

Primary Function:

Perform in-process and final inspection of fabricated steel equipment (pressure vessels, process piping, structural steel & machined components) in accordance with various national and international standards and customer specifications.

Qualification Requirements:
  • AWS-CWI or ASNT-TC-1A VT II certified / certifiable preferred
  • Must possess skills / experience to perform inspection of in-process welding, final weld inspection, dimensional inspection of heavy steel parts
  • Basic geometry, algebra, mathematic and report writing skills required
  • Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Familiar with fabrication drawings, multiple welding, NDE processes and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have the ability to work with minimal direction and prioritize daily tasks
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspection / verification of materials used in fabrication
  • Generating and review various fabrication documentation
  • Inspection of in-process welding
  • Inspection of final welds
  • Dimensional inspection in accordance with fabricating drawings
  • Perform inspection in accordance with various standards and drawing requirements
  • Perform inspection of finely machined components
  • Perform NDE (Penetrate testing & UT thickness gauging) in accordance with job requirements
  • Follow all lawful employer safety and health rules and regulations, and wear or use required protective equipment while working. Report hazardous conditions to the employer. Report any job-related injury or illness to the employer, and seek treatment promptly.
