February 2013 - Ascension Industries Contract Manufacturing Team Opens Additional Manufacturing Area And Increases Lifting Capacity To 50 Tons...
Ascension Industries announced that it recently completed an internal restructuring phase which opened up additional manufacturing areas and increased our lifting capacity. In our main manufacturing high bay, we increased our lifting capacity from 30 tons to 50 tons.

The new investments allow Ascension Industries to handle heavier assemblies and be more competitive in the expanding market of skidded equipment. With exceptional internal and external coordination, the old cranes were removed and the new cranes installed in only two days with little impact on production.
In addition to the 50 ton crane upgrade, Ascension has added four 5 ton cranes in areas formerly occupied by the pipe welding group. The pipe group took over the area where the sheet metal laser machines where. With these moves, the company now has the capability to offer greater throughput of smaller assemblies and vessels. With the culmination of these moves, Ascension is able to cycle more work through the same footprint with increased efficiency.
Ascension Industries offers comprehensive product specification, design, development, and engineering services for packaging of rotating equipment, including creation of bills of materials and all fabrication drawings necessary for build. The company's experienced Contract Manufacturing Team provide full project management, expert fabrication, quality inspection, and testing services.
