Position: Electrical Assembler

Shift: 1st  

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years relevant manufacturing experience, preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, layouts, piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Knowledge of hand tools for assembly
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attendance is required
  • Must be team orientated
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, Align, plumb, equipment
  • Blueprint reading and layout
  • Perform basic mechanical functions
  • Reading Instrumentation Diagrams
  • Able to pull wires and install components
  • Work within Design Specifications & Classifications
  • Able to bend and install conduit, build and install panel boxes
  • Able to do basic wiring
  • Familiar with Hand Tools and Shop tools

Position: Electrical/Controls Design Engineer

Qualifications:
  • A BSEE or Associates Degree with additional work experience (ideal candidate will have “hands on” electrical experience)
  • A minimum of five years demonstrated design experience.
  • Knowledgeable of the NEC Sect. 501
  • 3-phase systems motor control, VFD experience required
  • Understanding of process controls and instrumentation and experience in troubleshooting instrumentation systems.
  • Experienced PLC programmer using primarily Allen Bradley products. Specifically Micrologix, Compact Logix, Contrologix, and SLC500. Capable of setting functionality and communication with customer controls systems such as DeviceNet, Modbus, Profibus and Ethernet.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to support design team, and shop cooperation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD including high level functions, not just drawing tools, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Extremely organized and detailed oriented.
  • Knowledge of basic electricity and electrical circuits required
  • Ability to direct/supervise electrical subcontractors preferred
Job Responsibilities:
  • Programming PLCs - Micrologix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix. Programming HMIs - PanelView Component and Panelview +. Capable of setting functionality and communication with customer controls systems such as DeviceNet, Modbus, Profibus and Ethernet.
  • Responsible for control panel design and specification of PLCs and HMIs.
  • Develop panel layouts drawings, schematics and BOMs for MRP system.
  • Creating ladder logic diagrams for PLCs.
  • Develop P&IDs, Controls Philosophy and Instrument/Valve Lists.
  • Perform final acceptance testing / checkouts; point to point checkout of electrical and control systems.
  • Selection of cable, cable trays, and conduit.
  • Assist shop personnel by resolving any possible problems or discrepancies that occur during the manufacturing process, such as interferences between electrical and piping designs.
  • Interface with customer to resolve discrepancies in specifications and drawings.
  • Troubleshooting of field problems (fielding service questions from existing customer base, reps, and field service techs related to operation and troubleshooting of control panel problems).
  • Monitor schedule and cost on jobs that he/she is assigned to.
  • Review customer specifications and develop Automation package estimates for Sales and Aftermarket Parts.
  • Field Service Trips (occasional for automation/control panel issues only).
  • Assist in developing and maintain maintaining / modifying drawings in support of our standard offerings.

Position: Estimator

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on shop floor experience in manufacturing that can be applied to job estimates
  • Experience with welding, machining or assembly is preferred
  • Knowledge of methods, processes, material takeoffs, quality, fixtures, codes, specs is required
  • Advanced technical education preferred (2 or 4 years) preferred but not required
  • Manufacturing experience is required.
  • Ability to communicate with other departments
  • Must have time management skills
  • Must be detail orientated, thorough and accurate
  • Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
Job Responsibilities:
  • Reviews and evaluates requests for estimates
  • Provide accurate cost estimates; including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs for each job
  • Obtains pricing for materials
  • Obtains bids from subcontractors
  • Coordinate production methods and processes with manufacturing
  • Liaison with sales and customers on concepts and expectations and needs
  • Review completed jobs for accuracy
  • Maintain current estimating information
  • Coordinate delivery dates with manufacturing
  • Coordinate "kickoff" meetings on new orders with manufacturing
  • Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, materials, etc.

Position: Machinist (Large Horizontal Boring Mill)

Shift: 1st and 2nd

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years programming experience on large, horizontal mills
  • 3-8 years relevant experience (experience in “job shop” environment preferred)
  • Ability to read/interpret engineered drawings and willingness to interface with engineering department
  • Must be proficient with measuring equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude & math skills required
  • Rigging experience a plus
  • Mastercam experience a plus
Job Responsibilities:
  • Program mills by building & entering instructions (code), including all aspects of job set-up, calculations, tools,
  • operating parameters and dimensional validation. 
  • Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work-pieces; adhering to appropriate standards
  • Maintain specifications by observing process & part quality; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions;
  • troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools;
  • adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Perform set-up and tear down/clean-up of machining centers.
  • Utilize measuring devices – including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, tape measure, scales, etc…
  • Perform pre and post-machining inspections to verify critical fabrication or material tolerance requirements.
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

  • Must understand piping code requirements
  • Design experience should include piping and structural skids
  • Able to interpret P&ID’s, drawings, and specifications
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
  • Inventor/3D modeling experience required
  • Vault experience preferred
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, assembly, machining, and welded fabrications.
  • Experience with high-temperature applications a plus
Job Responsibilities:
  • Gather all necessary information & documentation to prepare 3D solid model and/or 2D drawings as directed.
  • Perform pipe stress analysis
  • Finalize, store, and maintain drawings per company standards.
  • Support sales, project management, and manufacturing with drawing clarifications or revisions as needed.
  • Generate GA drawings for customer approval
  • Generate BOM’s for assemblies and enter into MRP system.
  • Assist in developing engineering standards, tools, and design manuals
  • Size and select components
  • Check drawings for completeness and accuracy
  • Support P&ID development as needed
  • Partner with manufacturing personnel to resolve problems during fabrication phase

  • Estimate labor hours, and related costs such as sub-contracting and materials to provide information for management decisions.
  • Transition products from product development to production.
  • Oversee manufacture of products and process optimization.
  • Interface with customers.

Position: Welder-Fitter

Shift: 1st and 2nd

Qualifications:
  • Experience with  metal fabrication
  • Must be able to read/interpret P&ID’s, schematics, engineered drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required
  • Relevant experience includes assembly of components
  • Must be proficient with regards to ASME B31.3 Code requirements
  • Will be required to demonstrate welding proficiency: pulse MIG, STT, TIG, X-Ray, etc…
Job Responsibilities:
  • Fabrication of pressure vessels, structural skids, piping, etc…
  • Joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weld-able material by applying appropriate welding techniques
  • Laying out and fabricating precision welds and elements from blueprints and engineering concepts
  • Welding to ASME code and 100% x-ray
  • Inspecting completed welds to determine structural soundness
  • Working independently or as part of a team while making sound decisions and solving technical problems
  • Performing all job duties in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performing other functions/duties as required
